Keep them and buy the rest of the line when they are released later this year.

If you like the toys then keep them. According to Hasbro they are going to try very hard to release the rest of the animated figures.

Yes, they will be released. They are already in Wal-Mart and K-Mart computers and Kmart.com.

Would you rather sit tight, or sell them and then want them back when the others come out?

If you like them, keep them, if not, sell them.

Although nows not a great time to sell as you can get pretty much every animated toy in shops right now, leaders are even on clearance. Once the line is out of the shops next year (?) its then worth selling as you will tend to at least get your $ back.

What do you mean by incomplete? There is almost always characters that don't get made from transformers series. Are you gonna get rid of all your G1 because you dont have an Alpha Trion or sell all your energon because you dont have a Padlock? I'm still waiting for a cybertron signal lancer. Even with the releases we will get later there are characters that wont get toys. If that's enough to make you get rid of your collection you shouldnt bother collecting

Do you like them? If yes, keep them. If no, ebay.

To my knowledge, the final Animated toys will be released eventually, but you'll just have to be patient. ROTF has dominated the TF asiles, and the last Animated toys will probably show up when ROTF starts to die off, which will happen in about a year or so. I'm wondering how Hasbro plans to get the toys of a formerly defunct line to retailers, though, maybe re-package them under the Universe line like the Ani. Legends?

Don't do it if you like them. You might regret selling them off. You might be paying almost triple the price you originally bought them for when you regret selling them off and trying to regain your collection.

who do you want to make it complete....with all the ones coming out in the near future..the series may be over but it looks as if the line is just on hold for the movie to run its main voyage...i say hold off....unless ur hurting for the money.

I feel for you on that one, I *just* started collecting the Animated line.

In looking around it seems like you can still get pretty much all the ones that were released thus far via retail sources. And as others have said, there's more to come.

I've seen it in various incarnations, and I must admit to not understanding the mindset that says "I don't have/can't get a complete collection of (any given line), so I'll get rid of all the ones I do have - it's all or nothing."

Like others said, If you like them, keep them. If you want a full collection, wait for the opportunity to get it rather than giving up and going back to square zero. The way I see it, even if you do decide to sell off your Animated collection, keep a few favorites at least (If you have some). Like Beast Machines, Animated is a line with a very unique style, which might not ever be repeated, and as such is a piece of history in its own way.

As been mentioned, you won't get much for them right now except maybe gray shockwave and wreckgar so unless you need the money BADLY don't sell them. You can always sell them later if you change your mind and probably for more.

If you like them, keep them.

If you don't like them, sell them.

That's my philosophy when it comes to collecting TFs and eventually having to decide whether they're really worth keeping or not.
