he's a cool toy, but i haven't had my g1 displayed in forever, and most of what i do have is pretty junked unless its a reissue, but bludgeon was out on my TV stand for a year after i got him, but he never ever gets played with...and recently, just two of his parts sold for over 60 bucks...which definitely has me tempted... so, any advice?

It's a good time to do so, if that's what you choose.

Bludgeon is riding a high from his new figure...and that is causing people to look for the original. If you want to make some dough...now is the time.

A similar situation is going on with Energon and RotF Bruticus Maximus. With the announcment and pictures of the FansProject Add-on set...the demand has risen.

That's actually a really good way to think about it. If you sell it, what are you going to do with the money? Once it's gone, you probably won't get another.

I have lots of extra toys I could sell... But the money isn't really going to change anything for me right now... And with the risk of inflation rising up in the near future, I might as well keep the toys.

If you don't want it, sell it. His price is very high right now because of the ROTF Voyager's hype. Opportuinty is knocking...will you answer?

If you don't want it any more, sell it before ROTF Bludgeon hits saturation.

If the toy means something to you (i.e. figure you had as a kid, a love one gave it to you etc) then keep it, if it's just part of your collection you can make money on, sell it. More money, more new toys!!!

its just something i got...i had always wanted it, that's for sure, then one day someone offered to trade me a complete dead mint bludgeon for slamdance and rain maker, without weapons and kinda loose... i thought he was kidding...turns out, he was dead serious...came by my store, made the trade...and i've had him every since...but if i sell him now, i could get more botcon toys, or probably even MP grimlock...and that would be cool...but since i've made this thread, i've already started to sorta miss bludgeon...so i don't know now... cuz a new one would be hard/expensive to rebuy...and he is kinda rad...i'm just thinking this new one will kill ANY love i've got for the g1 version...

Wait to get the new Bludgeon, then, to sell the G1.

Or, have you considered getting Octopunch and Stranglehold, completing the Mayhem Attack Squad? I think he looks a lot better with his troops.

Lumpy this is my advice take a good long look at Bludgeon and ask yourself if sell this willi eventually want to re buy it? if you can honestly say no with little to no hesitation then sell if you can't say no or it takes you along time to say no then keep him

lol. or not. if my parents had saved me a toy from their childhood - a toy which means absolutely nothing to me and isn't particularly valuable - i'd have been distinctly underwhelmed to recieve it. not because i'm ungrateful (which i am), but because it's a useless hunk of plastic (which it is).

    also:

in short, if you want it keep it for yourself. if you don't want it sell it to somebody who does.
