I'm thinking of selling my E. Magnus, as I don't need that mold twice anymore, but I really like the Requiem Blaster colors that come with him... So, do you think it'll hurt the value of selling Magnus by not having paired up with his Minicons? Should I just suck it up and keep my Armada Requiem Blaster instead and sell Magnus complete?

and I think i've got the box too somewhere, but I doubt I'll sell that with him, as I don't think it'll influence price much, if at all...

It doesn't hurt to have the box and you can clear up some room as well.

Sell it complete unless you're willing to take a big loss. If most buyers are like me, they won't buy incomplete post-G1 figures unless the missing parts are common and inexpensive.

the box is either in storage, or buried in my garage, which means it might be more effort to find it than it's actually worth...
i used to save EVERY bit of cardboard, and after a few years and a few 2x2x4 foot boxes full of boxes, i gave up and dumped most of it, and still have more to go clear out of my storage...

normally i wouldn't but not everyone is into minicons, so someone may really just want Magnus and not the minicons... Maybe i'll sell it with the option of getting the minicons as well, if desired.

id buy it without the minicon team. simply becuase i want Energon Ultra Magnus. it'd would give some use to the un-used A-OP trailer thats sitting there. since i have OP in Jet Magna Convoy mode. BUt depends on price point i wouldnt buy it for more than $50.

It's going to come down to price.

If you are hoping to get anywhere near epay prices for it, it will need to be complete and should probably have the box. Otherwise expect less than $50 for it.

from what I can see on eBay, sealed has been selling for about 90, and a loose one with no minicon went for 65, so what would loose with the minicons go for realistically? There's one listed at 132, but I don't think that's a realistic price...

Going by those numbers, I'd say ~$75 is pretty fair, then.

If you like those minicons so much don't sell them. Just sell it without minicons or with the Armada ones instead. But make it clear in your pictures and description.

Too bad it wasn't the Energon Magnus with the cars... :lol

I love my Magnus. Too bad his awesomely colored Requiem Blaster can't actually be, y'know, HELD by Magnus without modification of the gun...

that's actually a good idea to sell it with the regular version instead...

hahaha, right? i always hated that... the Skyboom shield would've been a MUCH better companion piece...

I can tell you that I, for one, have been wanting to get that figure but have NO interest whatsoever in those minicons. So if you decide to sell, I'd be happy to buy it and you can keep the requim blaster team.

Yeah I often find Minicons have their own market. If you do decide to sell the Requiem Blaster in the future, they might be appreciated by a collector who has not wanted to purchase Magnus for the sake of obtaining minicons.

Actually the Speed Street Team would have been better than the shield.

That's what I was saying... They'd go for big bucks on their own even without Ultra Magnus.

I knew that's what you meant. Lumpy quoted you and mentioned the SkyBoom Shield. I was letting him know what you meant.
