So quick history lesson, back in high school I had a friend who at the time I really trusted and would of backed him up no matter what. Through a bunch of bull that happend he basiclly ended up stabbed me in the back (theoretically) and we didn't speak since then. In that time I've moved on and things are going well for me.

Anyway I get home tonight from the karate studio and my mom said that he came around and wanted to get in touch. He left his number and all that jazz. Now honestly it doesn't bother me that he tried, my first reaction was to scoff and chuckle at it. But I sat down and honestly my curiosity is peaked. Not so much to rekindle a friendship but as to what exactly he wanted.

So I'm looking for advice, should I give him a call and see what happens, or just forget about it and let things be. My instincts are saying he needs something and thats all. But it roused my curiosity.

Well, mind telling us what he did to you?

I tend to give people second chances and forgive others for their mistakes. It couldn't have been that bad if it was high school... I mean, he didn't plant drugs on you or leave a dead hooker in your locker, did he?

If you live with your mom and are taking karate lessons, you have other things more important to worry about it than teh high school dramaz.

People from the past are always up to no good. Stay away from them.

Or did he bone you behind her back? Either way a bone was dug up that must be burried.

Give him a chance man, life is too short to take grudges to the grave.

I tend to let people who back-stab me fade into history. I don't know about the rest of you, but I tend not to surround myself with people who have shown their ability to toss me under the bus.

If you must... talk to him, but don't trust him.

I believe most times than ever when someone comes back from a past relationship or friendship, that person wants something. Its happen to me before where I let them in my life again and trouble seems to rekindle. So I wouldn't. My 2 cents.

Well if you are that curious it doesn't hurt to give him a call and see what he wants. If you feel that he's up to no good then stay away from him. Trust your instincts!

Might as well give him a ring to sate your curiosity, but if you get bad vibes, don't bother with him.

Life's too short for grudges, but it's also too short for having people try to leech of ya when they want something.

yeah i am in the give him a phone call crowd. though form a phone that he wont be able to track (caller ID).

he is a old friend and though you have the right to ignore him it doesnt hurt to see what he has to say for himself. for all you know he might be trying to contact you to apologize for being a jerk.

    What?

Dude, he called the guy's house and talked to his mom. I'm pretty sure he not only knows his number, but where he lives.
