    Yep^

Freedom is the only way, after all. Plus, while there's always a chance of this thing appreciating in value, I can't help but imagine the possibility of that getting fainter by each additional release, especially since you'll need to account for all of your additional expenses in addition to your purchase price to break even. On top of that, its not like opening the thing is gonna utterly destroy its value, and if it does, then its clearly not something that held that much stroke anyway.

In closing... OMG OPEN IT, THERE'S NO POINT GETTING TOY IF YOU DON'T OPEN, TOYS ARE TO PLAY WITH

if you plan to sell it keep it sealed, If not open it as you are missing out on most of what the figure is capable of.

If you want to sell it, you might want to sell it now while the iron is hot. There's a good chance it's not going to be worth a whole lot more than it is right now as the hype for it is currently high and it's probably a bit of a niche figure being based off a video game line. Otherwise open it, enjoy it, keep the packaging, and it'll be worth whatever it's worth if/when you go to sell it.

Look at it this way. If you open it and keep the box I would say it is a safe bet that a MIB version will always be worth more the $100 you paid to buy it.

I just spent $270 and I'm opening that beast the second it comes to me.

How much did you pay for it? If you paid HTS prices for it, I doubt most collectors would ever really pay over 250 for it.

If you really want money, just flip it now on Ebay for 250. Tack on 8-10 dollar shipping for it and you're golden.

However, if it was me, I'd say just open the damn thing!

sell it. if you really cared about the toy you'd have opened it by now. Sell while demand is high. I guarantee the value will drop when the retail/amazon/customs strat cropping up.

Normally I can support MISB decisions but in this case open it. That thing is ugly in combine form, so you have to split it up.

Have so many of you forgotten RofT Bruticus? How much is he going for now?

Do you really think there isn't a 3P group out there already working on an upgrade for this thing? I know insiders hinted at it when the figure was first shown. By this time next year I bet FoC Bruticus will be a big topic again due to some brilliant 3P add on.

Now lets remove the 3P from the equation. The figure costs $100. People at the show paid money to go, get in and had to waste a lot of time waiting in line for it. It sold out before demand was met. Now HTS sells it for $100 plus tax plus shipping, can we agree to $150? Sold quick, demand still not met. Secondary market started at (numbers include shipping) $200 from yesterday, were around $250 today and now the cheapeast you can find is $280 but most are over $300. Demand still not met.

The only way I see this thing taking a major hit is if TT produces the figures in game colours and that will still run you about $200 after import prices and shipping. And then this still does not factor in that this is a SDCC exclusive in a most beautiful package (yes that does mean a lot to some buyers).

I really don't see this thing dropping below $200 and thats a low low low ball figure. It may, anything can happen, but I wouldn't bank on it. I personally see a story very similar to RotF Bruticus'.

    Heh. Lucky I bought 2.
But it was an accident so don't call me a scalper. My post office messed up and I thought the mailman stole it, and I ordered another one. Now they told me they sent it back to the seller so I told him to send it back!

So I'm probably gonna end up getting both eventually...
