Should I get Leader Megs now, or wait for any chance of a premium version?

If you are thinking of doing the mod, then get this one now. Why wait to see if they do a premium and then do an arm mod. So I say get him and mod.

I voted for that. If that option wasn't there then I would have "I choose this one because I have nothing to contribute and I want to look stupid".

It's not just the arms. Tank mode is pitiful. It's just another all-round feeble effort.

My view is hold out, at least wait for clearance. When Hasbro delivers mediocrity, I really hate to reward them for it.

Wait to see if there will be a premium. Besides he is a big shelf warmer and will probably end up on clearence.

I did because with the amount of Leader Megs warming shelves now, stores will most likely have to clearance them out later. So wait for a premium and if it doesn't come, then you most likely will get the leader for cheap.

That'd annoy me if the third film was promoted with the same Megatron toy. I really hope for an improved mold now Hasbro has the second film to study. My problems with the toy aren't just his inaccurate arms, but also the overall hunchbackish appearance and an overly bulky tank mode. In the film, Megatron's body is mostly made up of his long legs, and his torso is fairly small. His tank mode is really a sleek, flat jet, and the only bulk is the cannon and caterpillar treads. I believe Hasbro can do better, and I have faith in them to deliver a toy equal to ROTF Prime (which I wouldn't mind if they reused the mold for the TF3 toy).

Ok, I would buy Megs now and leave him sealed. Then, if there's a sale, adjust the price accordingly. However, should they announce a premium, return immediately and wait for that. I'm waiting for any official repaint confirmations before opening.

Usually sale adjustments only work for the first 2 weeks. And they would have to announce doing a premium series within the next 3 months, otherwise he wouldn't be able to return it.
