I know video games based off of movies are usually bad but this one seems cool, but before I actually go out and get it I wanted your opinions.

I'm curious too, Iron Man and Iron Man 2 were 'alright' even though they got rock solid fairly early on in the game. I've seen Captain America on 360 and been tempted but never took the plunge.

Having said that Thor on DS is a 2D side scroller by Wayforward, and is a pretty solid little game... Cap on DS is 3D (which means it'll probably be quite bad) and I didn't even know it was on 3DS.

Honestly I had a lot of fun with CA:SS. It's kind of like Arkham Asylum lite in the combat. The platforming is kind of like Enslaved where you basically just time your button presses. For a movie based game it is really good IMO. The boss battles can get kind of repetitive and a little frustrating at times but if you can find it cheap I'd say go for it. At the very least give it a rent.

I've never played it, but have heard good things about the 360/ps3 versions.

Get it. It plays almost like Arkham Asylum, but don't take that as anything but a compliment. Good way to kill a weekend.

Got it new from eb for 19.99, it was fun but should of been a rental. Game was 99% completed in 1 sitting.

I have the Wii version and aside from some seriously weird choices in character design, it's pretty damned good. I had a ton of fun just chucking Cap's shield around.

I'm planning on getting the PS3 version soon, since I finally have a PS3.
