I swore I'd never post one of these, but I know some of you guys are familiar with the rarity of this game (or is it just perceived rarity)?

I went to buy Star Ocean PSP last night and in the used bin I saw R.A.D. for 10 bucks. I didn't buy it because I'm saving for Killzone and Sonic Genesis Collection, but I remember this game being difficult to find.

Is this a Panzer Dragoon Saga type rare, or is it just cult classic rare? Should I pick it up? (assuming it's still there).

Pick it up! That's a $10 you'll be glad to spend. You can easily recover that much money anyways, just dont eat out for a day.

I still have no idea what happened to my original copy, but I remember playing to players with my cousin and instead of fighting eachother, we leveled the entire city.

Yeah but I'm not buying KZ for the online. I want it for the single player mode, so I want to see what that demo is like next week. Rad won't keep from buying Killzone, but that's why I didn't buy it last night.

Still though, KZ is one of my most anticipated games in the next couple of months, so I don't think I can hold off on that one.

I've already owned RAD before, but I didn't know whether or not it would be worth rebuying. It's the only robot game with that unique control scheme though... Well it's predecesor on the PS1, but that one never came here.

When ya do buy that game (Killzone 2), tell me all about it! I dont think I'm going to have much opportunity to check it out myself. I dont own a PS3, and I also dont see myself buying it to then play on my brother in law's PS3.

RAD is okay. For $10 it's pretty easy to buy it without regrets, just as long as you hit mute whenever anyone talks. :lol

Pretty much a year ago from today I got R.A.D. for $40 BRAND NEW at my local FYE. They seem to have a shitload of old games still brand new, plus they sell used ones as well.

    Here's the old R.A.D. thread btw: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/video...-anyone-remember-old-ps2-game-called-rad.html
