Because manta rays with an overdeveloped sense of vengeance rock!

I know, just kidding. :lol  I don't have him, and I'd recommend saving your money for either a bot that appeared in the film, or some of the upcoming Animated toys instead. I don't feel these scouts are a good value for the money. They're pretty small and unappealing IMO.

Almost all the ROTF Scouts have been win with me. Depthcharge is one of my favourites. Go check out the Feedback thread and you'll probably find lots of reasons to buy him.

He's awesome. You get the complexity of a deluxe in a basic sized toy and he has an interesting altmode, good sculpting, paint app and detail make him instant win for the price.

The scouts have overall been the best size class in the ROTF line. All 9 molds out so far are recommended.

The whole ROTF line should've been Scouts. :D

Having just picked up Dune Runner, I cannot agree more - strange that these little guys seem better than most of the larger scale toys, and all but a couple of them aren't even in the movie!

I'm glad you like them and I can see what they were going for. I just feel like the Real Gears were the same concept, only in more of a non-movie universe aesthetic, and I got still got bored with them more quickly than vehicle alt-mode TFs.

I saw Scalpel for the first time at a local TRU yesterday, and decide to pass on him. He just doesn't look that great. :(

I also heard about missing/cracked leg joint issues, from multiple sources including GogDog on WTF@TFW last week.

Yup. I'd so love to buy Scalpel but I've now had three with cracked and broken legs right out the package so I'm done with that figure now.

Actually, Ejector appeals to me for the same reason Ransack does - the alt mode is so utterly bizarre that for reasons I'm at a loss to explain, it makes the toy seemingly awesome.

i think if they make him as a little boat instead as a war big boat, that's have make him a must-buy but he's a big one and that's dont fit much the class
