absolutely yes. It's not just something that I think would be cool, I think it's genuinely something they should do, because it's their fault the original figures broke in the first place.

Honestly, it's never gonna happen but I would luv to have BW Metals figs that don't flake every time you touch 'em. Or golden TFs that don't disintegrate as soon as you take 'em out of the package. Or Binaltech that chip for no good reason...

I do think if any older releases "should" be reissued, figures with serious quality issues due to GPS or other kinds of fragility issues. At least with the other G1/G2/Beast Era figures, you have the option to find the originals loose (and a bunch of Beast Era stuff and some G2 stuff sealed still) on the secondary market...but with GPS-afflicted toys, it doesn't matter what condition you find the original toys in because it can always break or crumble later, no matter how careful you are with the damn thing.

It would be really cool to see them do this, especially with something like G1 Skyquake or any of the other GPS sufferers that didn't get redone by Takara and have the gold plastic replaced with brown plastic, something that Takara did with TM Megatron.

Hmm... as much as I'd like the idea (even though so far all my old figures that are prone to GPS are still thankfully intact) I doubt Hasbro would do it. It's a fairly mis-matched selection of figures and it would also be admitting they put out certain figures that had poor plastic choices that severely reduced their longevity.
I think the best people could hope for would be if they were taken on as convention exclusives. Maybe grouped under an 'Unshattered Relics' banner.

Hell yes. I've always wanted a good version of Transmetal Megatron that isn't the rare Japanese figure.

Also Electro from HFTD Hubcap please.

Not Electro, but I'd take one of the other Laser Rods... Electro's alt-mode was way too different (and awesome), and I loved his facesculpt, too. Plus they wouldn't have a sword... still hoping for a remold of Kup!

Every Transformer that suffered from GPS must be reissued. Reissue G1 Roadblock and Monstructor would rock my socks.

I would never look to Hasbro for reissuing anything, honestly. This is Takara's thing, so we should look to them if there's any chance of this happening. If Hasbro were willing and able, hey cool, but I see no reason to expect it from them since they've largely stayed out of reissues outside of a handful of releases over the past few years.

That said, I doubt it's very high on Takara's list of priorities either.
