Yes, i never got any premiun toy in movie 1 toyline
In my opinion, only for the Leaders. The non-leader "core" characters mostly have gotten repaints so far, but the leaders have had zero at all. Add to that the fact that the three leaders are sorely lacking in paint, I would definitely buy Leader Premiums, such as Buster Prime.
emphatically ... YES
yes! I just want a Buster Optimus Prime!
Doesn't matter. They aren't going to...
I wouldn't buy em anyways. I've bought way to many already for me to fork over any more cash.
Ya see, I voted "No" because Hasbro would probably do it for the whole line and take away from the Leader Premiums. In my mind, I think Hasbro should go all out on the Leaders giving us an American release Buster Prime . . . instead of a halfway decent premium Prime.
Dear God no. Was a horrible cash grab then, would be a horrible cash grab now.
They should have been made premiums in the first place. Did they not learn from the first movie?
Onscreen accuracy sells me on a toy, regardless if it's a crappy one or not. If they plan on doing it then I probably will get them and sell the older versions. I will probably buy two of each (One open for display/customizing, one to keep for future value) like I did with some of the 07 premiums.
I voted all 4. Why is this poll a checklist? I'm having deja vu as well.
On my actual stance: Indifferent.
I hope not. All thats going to do is extend the movie longer. They should get Classics 3.0 out ASAP.
ROTF premiums would be nice, but I'm more anxious for them to get back to producing Classics/Universe.
no, we'll end up seeing sooooo many swap outs, it wont be funny
Would depend, probaly more likely I would buy those then the ones out now though...
no. they shouldnt. i dont wanna spend again on the same figures, first of all.. secondly, the paint apps theyve done already look great on most figures.. and hasbro already said theyre not doing a premium series
Premiums was retailer driven after the first movie, and for this movie they have pretty much embraced the Transformers toyline from the getgo.
The way I see it, IF there are "premium" repaints, they should be done they way they were originally planned for the first movie (before they became line-padding filler) - limited store exclusives of only a few characters.
Just give us a Buster Prime state side... and throw in the Black Prime too.
And there's the correct answer.
Premiums existed because of the lengthy shortages of figures in stores and the longevity/popularity of the line. This time most stores seem to be well-stocked, and even popular figures like BB can be found with relative ease.
