What if hasbro makes movieverse toy line based only on NEST

putting the human alliance role by a side

I mean soldiers with transforming equipment (triple changer:equipment to weapon to robot drone) for example:

William Lennox with Jet Cam Drone (Lets call him Raindance) to be transformed into two guns and a climbing equipment (something like Que´s urban assault prototypes)

Or something that put human characters in first instance

They could, but I guarentee it'd be a total failure. If it's released as "Transformers: Nest" little kids are gonna expect Bumblebee and Friends to be released. Seeing only the humans, they won't buy em.

I'm sorry but that just sounds like a recipe for failure. I'd have no problem if hasbro released some of the charcters that were introduced in the nest and movie line into generations and prime line.

I am really ready to see Hasbro move on from movie stuff and focus on Prime, FoC and Generations.

Would that mean the line was only autobots?

Ummm. I do not get it. I mean it sounds like human alliance basics but they become equipment for the humans instead of mechtech weapons.

Off-topic, but technically Gino has been renamed Zilla and is an official Toho monster now as of Godzilla: Final Wars.

(Sorry, it just bugs the hell out of me to hear a stupid name like GINO lol)

sounds more like a gi joe/m.a.s.k. crossover type of thing, it wont sell unless n.e.s.t get its own spin off cartoon series. and yeah human alliance basics already kinda does what you described, the scout bot has 3 modes, vehicle instead of equipment, weapon mode the human can ride/operate on, and bot mode.

Sounds like a line that would be stepping on the GI Joe territory way too hard. With a new live action GI Joe film that Hasbro wants to push in 2012 I can't see them doing a NEST line that would compete with their GI Joe movie toy push.

I think a more realist way of getting NEST might be if the GI Joe line put NEST characters into the GI Joe line like they did with Matt Trackker from MASK. The NEST look isn't all that different from the look from the trailer to the new Joe movie so they would fit. But then the wee problem of how dead set Hasbro seems about mixing GI Joe and Transformers.

you know what would make such a line sell (to us, not kids)- including build a figure parts for an exclusive leader class toy or something (cooler the fallen, gun movie megatron or something along those lines)
