I think it's just the fact that it's in the Toy discussion and has the word Generations in the title. People seem to take those two things and assume it's a wish list thread.

 

So what you're saying is "I wish Hasbro would make this figure."

But this isn't a wishlist thread. Okay.

 

"List" implies mentioning multiple characters. I started this thread to see if other people would like to see a specific character updated. So yes, I started a thread with a "wish", but no "list". Therefore, not a "wish list" thread.

Not to mention "wish list" threads are just that. A thread for people to post lists. Not really a whole lot of discussion in those. This thread was for discussion.

 

i would love E Rodimus, only to get a Nova Prime/Nemisis Prime repaint/remold. knowing that a 3rd party company would eventually make the trailer/apex armor for him.

 

It would be cool, but I personally would rather see a Classics Rodimus more in the vein of what we've been getting recently, as while the current Rodimus is cool, it could definately use an update.

 

If I HAD to narrow it down to just one; I'd want Hasbro to finally make a proper Beast Wars Blackarachnia figure.

 

I think Energon Rodimus is fine as a toy, but the concept of a big-rig Rodimus should certainly be explored again. However, before they delve into those eras, all I want them to do is make more Beast Wars characters.

 

I think they could do a better E. Rodimus but I don't know if I want one. I mean since we Classics "Hot Rod" already, I don't know if it'd be a good thing to do, but what do I know... I actually did buy E. Rodimus as a fill-in until I got another Classics Rodimus. I'd rather see something else done first.

 

I have only recently bought energon Rodimus. I think he is a quite nice figure, and he works for me as the upgraded version of Hot Rod.  

indeed, if we are going to see new G1 homages, I hope to see Sludge. We haven't had long-necked dinosaurs at all since the G1, except for the one that is a part of Magmatron, but that doesn't count since he can't work alone.
Dinosaurs are always neat, I'm sure a big apathosaurus leader class transformer would be very popular with the kids.

I'm not that interested in Energon Rodimus.

I'd like to see Siren, Guzzle, Sandstorm, Blitzwing, Springer, Powermaster Optimus Prime/Ginrai, Freeway, Getaway, Lio Convoy and maybe Excillion.

And of course a G1 repaint of G2 Laser Prime and the inevitable black repaint of the same mold.
