The sad part is, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone do that.

:lol  ah Shortpacked, always there to point out the foibles of the fandom :lol

I know you're probably right and I'd like to say you're wrong. But judging from various threads on the various boards about a "certain subject" I know you're probably right

Boy, you're right. Anyone who has kids who has a differing opinion about the movie sure is setting up their children for years of disappointment. :rolleyes2

The movie forum is full of angry folks posting hyperbolic frustration. They're getting their anger out with words. Better that than them driving down to LA and pulling a Jay and Silent Bob!

A good chunk of the fandom should NOT procreate.

I know that this is in hideously bad taste, but that gave me visions of a 90 year old Nazi reading message boards and wishing that the internet was around to help endorse thier eugenics program.

I let my nephew play with my toys and respects the fact that some are old, some are new and that I collect them. He knows the diference and kinda wonders why his uncle has so many cool toys, but how could you deny a child some toys. Like.."You can look, but cant touch." That just doesnt register to them.. Let the kids have fun..

Well, I've never had kids and don't plan to. However, if I had a son, I wouldn't treat him like that. I'd let him collect whatever he wanted.
