Is that song in the trailer done by the same group that did the Beast Wars season 1 theme in Japan?

Also, I will watch the hell out of this.

Reviving this thread because it's actually on the air now.

I watched the first episode raw and I loved it.

I read the summary on Random Curiosity, it does sound like it is worth checking out. Not entirely sure what to make of it all, but it's different to most other mecha series in that the mecha are for sports, rather than fighting, at least they are right now.

Actually, the 'Bigfoots' as they're called, are used for all kinds of jobs. They're more like multi-use forklifts. The sports application is a relatively new thing, and as such, no one's really good at it.

Looks awful to me, I hate that animation style with the lousy CGI, Macross Frontier had it and I hated it something bad.

the concept is something Im completely not sure I can get used to .

I mean I BARELY could accept eureka seven mecha design-it took a while for me to accept the concept really

Ok I enjoy Kawamori's work, but Im not sure Im down with this one...I give it 3 episodes. to see if I stick arround.

Funimation has included Basquash in one of their surveys along with a bunch of other tittles. So hopefully it will be licenced for the US market.
