Hello! After much work, a few mistakes, a few cries for help and some awesome advice from everyone on the boards, my Shockwave is finished! Up to date, I have only done straight repaints, never took robots apart or used multiple figures, so this was a first. The main part of my Shockwave comes from an Energon Shockblast, but the arms and "gun hand" were taken from a universe Dropshot. I went for a G1 approach with the colors. The purple looks quite metallic and I felt that was a great fit. Sadly, he does not transform. But, I only display Transformers in robot mode, so it doesn't bug me that much. Please let me know what you think. I have seen some amazing Shockwaves on here, and I don't think mine compares to them, but I had a good time doing this.

Very nice. Feels good to make your own Classics Shockwave, right? :)  The only nit pick I would say, and it's a personal preference, I would have cut off the extra piece of plastic sticking out over the fists from the forearm and also trimmed a little bit of the plastic sticking out of the right elbow where Dropshot's canons were.

Dude, it feels great! I may go with that idea and trim the plastic down, no that I've done some light modifications, I feel like I can do more.

    Thanks!

    Haha, glad you like it!

I knew I forgot something. I'll have to add a hose!

Thanks! Is yours on the boards? I'd love to see it.

Thanks on the kind words. But he's not blue. I don't mean to sound mean or anything but he's looking purple to me. I used a paint called Grape Pearl. Perhaps the lighting was off in the picture or on your computer or something.
