    wow i actually forgot shockwave was in this movie no joke i havnt seen it yet but reading about everything but him made me forget hm

    It was disappointing because he was touted as the big bad for months, possibly even a character to make Megatron look like a puss, then he was nothing but a random Transformer that doesn't happen to even transform. What a disappointment.

    It was a bit of a shame that he didn't really do a whole lot besides look badass.

    At least it took some effort to take him out, parachute blinding aside.

    To be fair, that was actually done for a reason. They didn't want to reveal Megatron's new look so soon, and there was no way they were gonna reveal Sentinel's true role in advertising.

    More Shockwave would have been cool, but I get the impression he was a red herring for the general audience and fans who haven't been spoiled.
    Taut him as the villain, introduce Sentinel Prime as a good guy, then reveal Sentinel to be the big bad instead.

    More shots would have been great but he was pretty gnarly in the scenes he had.

    Watching it a second time is ok. It makes him look more tough when your disappointing once so, hes alright. I say at least hes in the movie. Not a big baddie though.

    He wasn't the main bad guy. Plus, it's not like original Shockwave did a whole lot. He was a background character at best. I think this Shockwave filled that role nicely.

    I wouldn't of minded his short screen time if he had an awesome long fight with Optimus, the same one for the Burger King ad actually but extended. Seriously, where the hell was that footage? It seemed like an awful lot to do just for a freakin burger add.

    Oh, and not having him show up at the beginning of the movie and appear at the end would've helped his cause too. I kinda forgot about him by the time he showed up again tbh. Wish we coulda seen him with Megatron btw.

    i cant remember so was megatron even aware of shockwave in dotm? dont think he mentioned him, shockwave seem to stick to himself with his driller

    To me Shockwave was the Decepticon Jolt!

    Didn't do shit, hardly talked, could of been taken out of the movie and no one would of cared...

    Maybe in Rising Storm Shockwave didn't kill Jolt... He assimilated Jolt's personality!
