Shockwave is done using Energon Shockblast and the arms from an Energon Quickstrike (credit for this idea goes to SentinelPrime--his Shockwave from back in 2006 can be seen here: G1 Shockwave homage custom; redux - by SentinelPrime). The gun "hand" (or whatever you call it) is a Classics Jetfire backpack gun cut to size--didn't need 'em since I completely overhauled that backpack (which I still need to do a tutorial on). I also flipped the feet around to give it a more aesthetically pleasing look (the just looked too large the other way).
very neat. Cant wait to see it in colour. And also, thanks for the advice when i was doing one up then!
How did those Bulkhead/Quickstrike arms fit on there? Did they take any amount of modding to fit them on? I'm asking because I've got one in progress at the moment and I'm trying on Uni2.0 Powerglide/Storm Cloud's arms. They're a bit thin at the shoulder and I'm going to have to drill the holes larger to fit the bar in Shockblast's shoulder pads, then add some bulk with styrene or something to avoid having the whole thing crack or break on me. I may just try this out if it's easier to fit on.
Hmm... using Energon Bulkhead or Quickstrike arms for this custom, thats new to me. But its cool. Looking forward on how it turns out. Did you have to mod those arms to fit into the shoulders or not?
