Shockwave (DOTM) with the Driller vs Grimlock from AOE. Shockwave uses his weapons from DOTM and Grimlock uses his mace. Who wins?

It appears both are clearly capable of destroying each-other, but Driller has the upper hand of the element of surprise as he is capable of dragging Grimlock underground. Unless Grimlock can manage in Robot Mode and land a lethal blow on Driller's head or deal a lethal spit of Cybertronically Produced Flames (Head-Canon Flames) in Dinosaur Mode (Optimus was capable of doing this with his Jet-Pack) raining Driller with Fire-Power is capable of melting/weakening the Driller's robusticity 50/50 due to chaos factors of the environment of the said battle-ground.

Grimlock - Tanky Warrior Build in Robot Mode, Flames Capable of Burning Cybetronians, Giant but not as Sluggish as Devastator. Grimlock's jaw design mimmicks that of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Theropod with the most powerful bone-crushing bite force.
Driller - Has a Shock-Wave Support, Underground Surprise Element with the combination followed by a Constriction Devastation is Lethal.

I'm done editing my post, no really.

Grimlock. He'd eat both Driller and Shockwave in a matter of minutes

Driller. It'd crunch Grimlock. Shockwave wouldn't need to do shit.

It makes me wonder how a battle of Titans would go between the three Dinobots and the three large Decepticon beasts.

Grimlock, Scorn and Slug on one side, Devastator, Driller and the giant armed Hatchet Dread seen on Cybertron.

    It depends.

If Grimlock is in Beast Mode, he wins.

If Grimlock is in Robot Mode, he loses.

How so? Grimlock's robot mode didn't have much in the way of combat time, with the exception of his battle with Prime. His performance against Optimus Prime is a poor barometer because he (Prime) evaded every one of Grimlock's attacks. Driller is too large of a target to be able to avoid Grimlock as Prime did. I can easily see Grimlock smashing Driller to pieces with that massive club he wields. IMO Grimlock wins handily in either mode.
