There was someone on here earlier this year, January maybe, that drew up a Shockwave that transformed into a boomer submarine. Whoever that was totally needs to enter that contest for a transformer idea, that was totally awesome.

No. That would be a submarine which is more boomy.

 

I made a fan character named deep sweeper that hade a alt mode of a nucleor submarine for like 3.4 years ago.

I suck at drawing TFs but everything else was made stats, backstory, how he looked, abiletys, weaoponry and so on.

But would like to see that shocky submarine

For his namesake he should be a submarine which can go 2, 3 mach speed. Imagine the shock waves in the water.

 

Don't the compo rules say you can only enter 'new' designs?

 

Nope:

To enter, you need to design a Transformer that you would like to see in the Transformers 3 movie. The character can be a new original character of your creation, or a new take on an existing character. Characters should be designed in a movie-like appearance.

I would say this falls under new take on an existing character.

 

It has to be new as in "designed around the time the comp was announced"
