What if the vok had only covered up for shockwave cos they were created by the ripples made in all reality when super boy prime hit the scarlet witch that damn hard and so the vok now only exist to mess with peoples minds, cos there arse holes like that.

The characters in Infiltration have updated alt modes. So, is this the new, IDW look for the Dinobots?

 

Love how the Dinobots lost their skin and looked all G1. My only gripe about the comic itself is that Shockwave was too purple.

Finally got after Diamond screwed over my store.

Awesome.

Best TF comic IDW have done so far.

This was fast, explained itself as it went along and pushed the overall story forwards. New -- Beast modes. Disdain. Shockwave switching off his higher processing functions. <strike>Dinobots</strike> Dynobots without comedy accents.

Josh has excelled himself on the fight effects. I love how dynamic Nick's style is. Furman has a handle on the characters and the bigger picture; even the brief appearance of Bludgeon tells us things about the Decepticons.

Looking forward to the rest of the oneshots most of everything now.

 

Technically you could tie both BW and IDW's continuity together.
And here's how.

Pre-BW
Shockwave seeded Earth with Energon.
He battles with and looses to the Dynobots and all are buried on molten hot lava.

The Vok are looking for a suitable planet to conduct experiments, and find Earth teaming with unstable energon and study it, claiming they created it.

Beast Wars take place.

Then Infiltration starts up in the present day.

All tied together.
With a big pretty red ribbon and bow.

 

Doesn’t work cos the BW comic ties completely to BW TV show and in that the ark crashed on earth in pre historic times, in the IWD time line the ark never crashed on earth so prime, megatron and the rest of the season 1 guys aren’t stasis locked on earth during beast wars and that’s kinda important, I believe Optimal Optimus was even shown in the comic and no Optimus Prime equals no Op Op.

Managed to finally get it today, and I must say, I like the issue alot! Kudos to Nick, Josh, and everyone else involved. 

From the looks of it, I wonder what other planets Shockwave seeded...and what other secrets he's hiding...

 

And what other adverse affects his energon seeding experiments have brought to those worlds? Pretty interesting stuff. I guess I should get the Inflitration paper back to catch up since I didnt buy it when it was coming out. Im missing on some key story points.
