Referencing G1 doesn't make it G1. It's simply an homage to the original, as most reboots are.

All I'm saying is no one can use that excuse anymore. It was always weak defense, and now it's an even weaker.

I wouldn't really even call it a mouth. Just a creepy movement/flexing of his face.

I think its funny that you call it a "defense". You act like you have a right to see Shockwave without his mouth. But you dont.

 

He doesn't have a mouth, he just has parts of his face that move around. Sorta like how the Fallen's beard moved around by itself. Their movements don't match up with anything he says.

I already said I don't care if he has a mouth. I wasn't a big fan of it, but, but I didn't ruin my movie experience. I knew they were going to do that after I saw the first movie.

I'm really just having some fun with it. For years people have been trolling 'This isn't G1' for varies reasons. And now that DOTM's story is several G1 episodes rolled into one; I guess in a small way, I'm just rubbing it in a little bit to all of those people who've said it.

I was entirely fine with Shockwave having a mouth, I HATE the boxed head look. Where does he intake Energon, then?!

And Shockwave having a mouth would be LEAST on my list of what the fuck they did wrong with the character.
