Rather unlikely, Shockwave would need to be a HUGE bot to be a ship that size. He is probably just on a different side of town where that ship isn't located.

I'd imagine this is all part of an animated banner that'll debut soon.

Something like Shockwave sliding in from the right, Optimus popping up from the bottom, etc. while the ships in the background fly over the smoking ruins of Chicago.

Damn, that does look pretty badass. I'm really suprised that they kept him purple for this movie.

 

Shockie does look quite impressive. I'll be interested to see if he makes the poster...I tend to think the teaser poster will have him on it but the final one sheet won't.

 

PURPLE!!!

I changed some color balance and saturation in Photoshop to bring out the purple. (I did not add any color to this the purple was in there to begin with, just hidden - I hope they show the purple in the movie)

I like how they made little accents of him purple and the rest be silver or bare metal - gives a more realistic aesthetic than doing all purple.

 

Shockwave looks great and badass I love him already.

Even the blurb that said "stay tuned for the poster reveal on Monday" is gone...
