Who did he silently kill? Who did he even kill at all? This thread is supposed to be critical and creative. Please dont come in here trolling it up.
Yeah the more and more i think about it, Hasbro shouldve said NO. They shouldve watched his scenes and been like, if this is what your gonna do with him you cant use him. Ferrari pitched a hissy fit about a name. This is an entire character.
At least we got an action figure out of it. Huge price to pay though. Not sure it was worth it, for what they did with Shockwa, I mean Galaxy man!
I actually forgot Shockwave was in the movie shortly after his appearance. I expected a lot from him when he finally showed up again in Chicago but no dice. Controlling a giant metal worm thingy and not much else wasn't exactly the epitome of badass. Such a waste.
Well...ya got me there. But thanks to you I shall forever call this version of the character "Shitwave".
Here's a question for you. HOW THE FUCK DID SHOCKWAVE GET THE DRILLER TO EARTH WITHOUT ANYONE NOTICING?
Shockwave was utilised just fine. Not everybody can be the star of the movie. It's only two and a half hours. They were both there for a long time. Probably before a lot of areas had been populated they came down and burrowed away under cover of night or something.
Shockwave was a huge waste, a leader treated more like a super-grunt. I have a feeling there were re-writes..he is introduced at the start in a significant manner and after that he doesn't do much, so he probably had a bigger role originally. Also, his demise was a bit weak, like most Decepticons in the series. Finally, I think like Megatron they failed to emphasise his immense, unusual firepower. Both of these two should have been levelling entire buildings, Autobots etc but they had normal kinds of weapons, not really standing out and marking them as fearsome in that way. I did like his design quite a bit though.
