I know I'm going to get chewed out but (Jeez) who is a better shockwave. Shockwave or Blast. I'm narrowing my want list but need a shockwave character. So I need to know if I should spend 30 on blast or 100 on wave. I already know the answer but I just want to be sure

you're talking about the energon shockblast? that's a great figure right there, and considering the price difference, I'd say you get more for your money with that one than with the g1 shockwave.

Shockwave's obviously a better Shockwave, because he's Shockwave, and Shockblast isn't.
Shockblast is a decent homage to Shockwave, though, and with much better articulation. Of course he has tank and satellite alt-modes instead of a gun, and he's got that horrible brick of a left arm.

I'd definitely count Shockwave as a good buy if you can get him (I've got an old KO, but it's the same size as the original with all its lights and sounds still functioning, so I'm good with it considering the price). But if he's out of your price range, E-Shockblast is definitely a worthy stand-in. With a bit of ingenuity, you could even fix the gimp arm if you felt like it...

I just got a Shockblast in on Friday. Good figure. Usually I get rid of things that leave a bad taste in my mouth (in this case, it took 3 months to show up) but Shockblast is a keeper.

I'd say Shockblast, just because it's a worthy stand-in and $50+ cheaper. But if G1's are more your thing (in my case, they are not), then go with Shockwave.

I think that Energon Shockblast would be a good Shockwave. get that and just like Ramrider says with some creativity it would be awesome shockwave thats for sure.

I love E Shockblast. Wish I could own G1 Shoclwave, but he's too pricy for a non G1 collector like me. Alt/BT version isn't an option?

Shockblast stands proudly with the Classics collection. I love G1, but Energon Shockblast was a hell of a figure.

Personally I try to get figs to be all the same size. Like classics are great size figs to go with some g1 guys like g1 soundwave is a little tall but it's not rediculous. I remember shockwave being a big fig seeming a little out of place. Thats why I'm also having trouble finding a nice meg to lead my cons, mp meg is awesome but he does'nt fit in. Classics prime is awesome as far as scale, to alot of different figs. He's big enough to command respect, but a fig like armada jetfire can stand next to him and you can say thats a good look. (to much typing sorry) Yes shockwave is awesome but he's huge. I might just get both and have shockwave have to lead beastwar guys in battle because he pissed megs off.

    Ebay:
Coincidentally, I'm about to sell my G1 C 7.5 Shockwave soon. Great condition, tight joints, electronics are loud, only thing is the hose is a little scaley. $80 bucks was what I was hoping to get.
