yahh you gotta a shockwave there for sure. The thing that i must have thought to be a rotor is actually, what seems to be, his tube that runs from his gun to his back.

But he looks to short...maybe thats why he didnt get a leader? :/

It might be, but what if Shocky's got his own herald of Sweep esque shockwaves, think about that, it'd make sense for the CGI budget, seeing as there were so many damn ships.

 

He's kind of in the vicinity of where I saw the pole with the cardboard head when I was down near the filming area.

Though I'm holding out for a better shot in the next trailer. My guess is they're keeping any decent headshots of Megatron, Shockwave (or even Soundwave) out of sight until we get the basic trailer in the next 2-3 months.

 

Seeing these close-ups, I'm leaning towards Shockwave, but the body reminds me of Megs.

I think he still is finishing his transformation on the picture, thus the small size and the hunchbacked position.

 

I'm gonna say no for a couple of reasons:

1. That guy is far too small. Shockwave is a tank and so far every tank has been a big robot - Brawl and Megatron were big and we see Brawl in this trailer to make a very, very rough comparison (hard to do as they are not side-by-side).

2. It has been stated that there are a few Shockwave lookalike drones. This seems to be the most logical explanation here.

I'm not saying there is a 0% chance it is him I just don't feel like he's large enough to be the badass we're getting the feel of from his toy images and the way he's depicted in the comic images.

 

So far there is no evidence to suggest that this is true. There is, however, almost undeniable visual proof that that's Shockwave.

 

So what your saying, CrazyGitar, is that if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck it must be a goose. And where has it been said there will be Shockwave drones.

 

Didn't we all say something similar about Devastator in movie 2?

 

If it's Shockwave, then he's either
A: Finishing Transformation
or
B: Looking down at something, maybe an autobot he killed or he's looking at what human is stuck to the bottom of his feet..

 

Nice! - I vote B. At first it didnt look like him but with the image update I would say yes! This must be where Prime and Shockwave do battle.

 

you can clearly see that he's looking down. well, you can tell in 1080p blown up on a huge monitor.
