Does this transform? I'm gunna guess no...but regardless, it sure looks pretty to me.

EDIT: NVM, read back a few posts and learned it doesn't. That makes me a sad panda. I only wanted it if it transformed. D:

This actually is sweet looking, and the G1 Shockwave barrel on the turret would make it a must-have. But after the Zaranna crap last year, the phrase "SDCC Exclusive" is still like an open wound and this and the Jinx are salt. Sorry, Hasbro, but my memory still works. I might make a token effort to get them from HTS at some point after the con (assuming they bother to put them on the webstore), but after being screwed on Zaranna, my tolerance is nearly gone.

Yeah, this toy looks sweet, but it brings up bad memories of SDCC's past. It's always super stressful and exhausting to try and get the stuff.

I'm waiting to see what the other Hasbro exclusives are, I'm expecting we'll get some Star Wars exclusives and TF stuff. I'd love to see a G1 reissue as the TF exclusive this year.

Meh... I'm a big GI Joe fan, and I obviously love Transformers as well, or I wouldn't be here, but these don't really appeal to me.

I'm glad Hasbro's thinking about this though. If they start making GI Joe-scale vehicles - especially iconic ones like the (real) HISS tank - that ACTUALLY TRANSFORM into actual Transformers characters (NOT some robot with a Snake Eyes or Cobra Commander face - I hate that!), then colour me interested. Until then, I can happily forgo the inevitable Ebay markup on the SDCC stuff. :)

Looks great! I am tempted to pick one up even though I stopped collecting Joes.

If you dont like Shockwave you could make a Galvatron. Sorry for the bad photo, all I have is ms paint. I would love one of the joes tanks painted up to look like G2 Megatron for SDCC.

I'm tempted. This would be an excellent complement to the Starscream/Cobra Commander set. The price point will be the determining factor for whether or not I try to get one.

Looks like they took out the moving rubber treads and added wheels on the bottom so it can roll. :(  Not only that, but the middle part doesn't look like it can telescope up and down anymore. Sad face some more..

Me too. I want to see a fan art of this that transforms into movie Shockwave.

What Transformers do you want to see as a G.I.Joe/Cobra vehicle and partnered with whom?

I was hoping someone would have made a transforming Starscream Sky Striker from last years exclusive (or the retail version). I wish Hasbro would try to make a Joe scale Transformer, but can't think who as what vehicle. There are plenty of human characters from Transformers I'd like to see in that scale:

    Old Snake CC
    Dr. Arkeville
    Hector Ramirez
    Marissa Faireborn
    Circuit Breaker
    Spike & Sparkplug

But this is actually a brand new mold, not the one you linked. They do look similar, but when compared, one can tell they are different.

Yup, they are different. ShockHiss doesn't have moving treads, has plastic wheels added to the bottom so it can roll, and the canopy/cabin doesn't telescope up and down.

Hasbro took a lot of time and effort to make this exclusive as the display shows. Is there Transformers SDCC Exclusive that Transforms?
