GI Joe Retaliation Movie Figures Including SDCC 2012 Exclusives - GI Joe News

It shows right here that there is a GI Joe Tank to be a Shockwave like Tank (Just like that Jet to look like Starscream) and it's said to be a San Diego Comic Con Exclusive.

For a moment I thought it was Fall of Cybertron Deluxe Shockwave.

 

if anything was gonna make me a GI Joe fan itd be these crossover toys they keep doing

Lacks the crossover appeal of Skystriker Starscream.

Actually, 'Lack' seems to apply to a lot of the retaliation toys we've seen so far.

Hasbro Europe are doing me a big favour on these.

 

Yeah ... definitely not as cool as the Starscream crossover, but I'd get this to keep the trend going.

I don't know guys, I think it's pretty rad.

And I think it's fantastic that they're keeping up with the crossover theme.

 

Yeah, kinda makes me sad I'm not out on the west coast to pick this up. That said, the new HISS is not as iconic as the new (vintage) sky striker, and Shockwave is not as iconic as Starscream, so i might be able to actually get this one...

 

I may need to get this, the HISS Tank looks amazing in those colors.

 

Not as cool as the Skystriker, but it still looks good, especially with that purple. Almost looks like something out of TF Prime, too.

BTW, is this a remold of the POC HISS tank? It looks different to me.

 

Looks like Nemesis Prime from RTS Prime is another exclusive.

EDIT: Also suspicious that Hasbro's pulling another RoC Destro with Jinx, on a semi-related note... that being, the definative movie version will be at SDCC, and probably the yellow/black outfit from the trailer will be the mainline toy.

 

Glad it's this tank so I can pass on the SDCC without any worries. Looks cool, but not as cool as the Starscream of last year. A Powerglide repaint of the Cobra Rattler would grab my attention.

 

You know Hasbro and their fear of mainline female toys.

 

Very nice! I'm wondering if Hasbro is using SDCC as a test market to see if a Human Alliance GiJoe/TF crossover would sell.
