So here are my 3 Shockwave customs all together. I think the one with the Jetfire arms will be Shockwave, the gray one Shackwave, and the other purple one I will call Shockblast.

    So Shockwave, Shockblast, Shackwave....

    ...and Shitwave :)

Very nice. Some of those pics give off a really strong sense that they're a unit, truly working together, thats my favorite part.

    Excellent paint jobs also.

very, very nice. Looks like this version of Shockwave seems to suffer from a Dr. Doom complex :p

I was wondering what I going to do with my left over sixshot and now I know! I didn't even think of using the other shoulder from both figures, because I thought they would be too small and unimposing but they look good on yours. I think shackwave is my favorite mostly because I haven't seen that color combo on this figure before. The purple ones need a tertiary color added to them though. Maybe a lighter shade of their respected purples to really make the figure pop. Also, Shockwaves arm cannon is kinda dinky :p

All that aside these came out great.

I did that one a while ago. I had other guns that I could use but seemed too big so I went with that one. It's ok, he has his forearm missiles he can use one those that call his gun hand dinky. :)  Plus he has his buffed up minions.

    Yes it is.

Shackwave from the gray Radio Shack version.

Those are sweet! I've been wanting to do make a custom Shockwave for awhile since I have a junker Classics Jetfire and a Dropshot I wouldn't mind sacrificing. Which swap do you think is easier? And do I need any other parts besides the Energon Shockblast figure and the Jetfire or Dropshot arms?

I'd recommend using a cybertron defense force scattorshot for the shoulders and arms. Probably easier to get a hold of and the larger size looks nicer imo.

If you want symmetrical shoulders, you'll need two Shockblasts. With the bigger shoulder using Dropshot's arms is easier because they already fit. No modding.

Jetfire's arms fit in the smaller shoulder but you'll need to modify the arms.

    Energon I think.

Excellent work. It would be good if yourself, or another person, was able to come up with a back story behind them. Maybe they all worked together, then disaster struck which turned Shockwave into the cold calculating villain we know and love (to hate!).

Maybe while he kept Cybertron for 4 million years the way Megatron left it, he clones himself and creates, Shockblast and Shackwave. One clone came out retarded. Shitwave.

I think I could add some more details but I think I like the minimalistic look.

    Even Shitwave?
