Somebody asked this over on Hisstank, and I'm assuming it has to do with trademark issues, but I honestly can't figure the specifics. There's a new GI Joe figure. In 1990 he was Shockwave, now he's Shockblast. Seems a simple case of Hasbro losing a trademark, but they've been using Shockwave this year in TFA and for the Cybertron mini-con in 2005, so it would seem they have the name Shockwave back. So, why is Hasbro using Shockblast? I know this is more of a Joe question, but thought somebody here might have some insight.
