Sucks man. Which chipset did you have? So far I have had zero problems with mine, but my brother has been through like 5 360s. Lame.
Mine RRODed over a year ago. I did that switch out screws and replace heatskink fix. Been working fine ever since.
Dude, totally off topic, but your Sig made me laugh out loud. True Story... BATMAN TAS shuffled in, in college, but it was before Itunes, so it was a CD Mix and I forgot Batman was in there.
:/ Even with the 360's robust online community, I simply couldn't tolerate the possibility of RRoD enough to ever buy the system.
If it was not covered under the warranty I would do that. But since MS is going to fix it for free...
yup, i flipped when mine did it the second time. this is why i get cross platform games on my ps3. the only thing i really use my 360 for is fighting people online.
Sorry to hear, Shin. Believe me, the worst part of having it is having to deal with Microsoft's customer support to either get it fixed or to get a new one.
I find the best way to avoid the RRoD is to leave the 360 packed in a box sitting in the closet. Wont be hooked back up until mass effect 2 hits.
