YouTube - LaBeouf On Transformers 3
That's a really awkward interview. It comes across as if they said "Surprise!!! We're going to interview you right here, right now! Have a seat." and Shia said "Errr, emm, ehh, here? um, sure...what were those TF3 talking points again? Oh yeah, big movie...best ever...ok, I'm ready for the interview."
What's the goal again?
Geez, he sounds like me when I get a phone call at 4AM. "I have no idea what I'm saying, so I'll just repeat things."
He looks like he's trying real hard to motivate himself for TF3.
i think the "you look buff" comment really threw him
Save me having to listen to Shia more than I have too - does he say anything that is new, or anything worthy of taking the mickey out of ?
Not really. H talks about his hand though. Something about not being to make a fist again, then he gets defensive for apparently no reason.
Also he's lookin like Ringo.
Not a very good interview, but at least it's good to know that his hand recovered better than they were expecting. It's still early in his career so having full use of his hand is good for his future film projects.
Man, I feel nothing but pity for actors having to put up with one bullshit interview after another. I hate these "celebrity watch" shows more than just about anything on television. Even though they get paid a boat load of money to do this crap, that has got to be a horrendously painful experience to go through time after time.
However, since they are actors you'd think they could make it look a bit more convincing. Maybe he's a bad interview on purpose.
I'm glad his hand healed really well. At least he sounds excited for TF3. Wonder if he'll keep the beard? He feels blessed and happy. Good for him. Anyway, I've seen worse interviews.
I can't quite tell if he's trying to be kinda funny or if he is just a douche.
What was he smoking before he shot this interview?
"you look buff"
Of course he does! Its in the name: Shia labeouf
If the interviewer intended that pun. Well played.
Glad Shia tried not to bandwagon on "revenge of the fallen was horrible, we need to succeed with the next one or we failed" as he has said lately.
Instead he did pretty well for the on the spot interview. Very Passionate for TF3 it sounds.
And this is why actor's have scripts.
He says they're all happy with the script, which means that they actually HAVE a script before they start shooting. That's an improvement.
"We have to talk about your new addiction"... WTF is that for a question, really...
That was odd.
well, they said TF2 was going to be the best transformers film ever made :/ look how that turned out
The interviewer sucked, as most of them on those shows do, but Shia's gone from being a promising young actor to just kind of out of it, to me.
got a really strange vibe from this interview...
He kinda looks peeved.. :/
Cant blame him i guess,...
he hasn't had his morning cup of coffee yet, dammit!
