Just because their leaveing doesn't mean they have to reboot it. I still believe it will continue on with a new trilogy like the fast and furious movies.

one can but hope that they do find someone who can command a lot of cash as they'd not want to make a cheap movie for number 4 (Superman 4 i'm looking at you)

Right. Every two years has been impressive though. Quality over quantity.

& good riddance! Can you imagine how awesome a rebooted TF movie with Spielberg or George Lucas at the helm would be? Scrap these alien-formers & base the characters' designs on MPs/Alts/Binaltech. Find a Spike who doesn't spend as much time hogging the camera as much as Shia does. Strip as many humans away from the film as possible & kablamo! Now that would make a kick-ass TF live action movie! :thumb

Seriously, that was my one gripe about the Bayformer movies, too much human focus. I mean you might as well rename it Sam Witwicky's Wild Adventure Featuring Trainsformers.

If there is a reboot maybe the Decepticons can win at least once. I have to admit that the one sided Autobot victories are getting a bit boring/stale at this point.

The general public bought tickets to watch alien robots fight their war, not just to see Everyday Awkward Teenager #1 get the hot chick.

If cost wasn't an issue, I'd love to see Transformers starring transformers as characters instead of just being explosion devices and comic relief. You know, a good Transformers film.

Also, robots that aren't barely-armored skeletons with bug faces and 10,000 MOVING PARTS OMG!!1

I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse, but I needed to throw that out there again.

It's possible to continue on without Bay and Shia.

Although Shia was the most important part of the human cast, the bond between Lennox and Epps seems to be stronger with the Autobots, so should they continue the franchise, the focus and shift onto them. Hell, Carly is new and the torch can always be passed to her if reception to her character is good.

Not that i'm not for a reboot, but I quite like the movie designs, and with a touch more story and TF focus (which it seems we are getting) i'd be quite happy continuing the stories.

Oh, but i'm all for a film based on Reboot too ;)

They could do the G1 thing and jump to the future with new characters so they wouldn't need any of the old live actors. Seeing Hot Rod would be interesting a bit but whatever. I'd don't care to much how it goes with the live movies.
