Who cares about any of this?? If he wants to screw up his life, who cares? If he's not as guilty as it seemed, who cares? Just move on make the movie!! It's TFW, not TMZ, as many here have stated.

Harsh as it sounds, I am just happy that it doesn't appear to have an adverse effect on the overall filming of TF2.

...and before someone comes at me with the argument..."you should care...he's a role model" .....no he isn't. When my kids watch Transformers, they could give two shits about this kid......that 40 foot robot with the flames is their role model....oh yeah.....and my kids have something called PARENTS! lol...sorry about the rant, but I really got into it on another board earlier.

Optimus Peev is right, who cares about this idiot, let him screw up his life. He's a tool. Moving on with "Transformers" cause this is a "Transformers" site, right?

I know this is primarily a site frequented by adults and we've got a lot of leeway when it comes to language, but still is Shia's up-to-the-minute record on his DUI absolutely necessary as frontpaged news. I can understand in the GD or even the movie forum, but this is truly pathetic.

Oh well, these are the times we live in.

He's probably trying to show Megan Fox that he's a "Bad Boy" so she'll hook up with him :lol

I'm with you. I like Shia and it'd be a huge disapointment if he turned into Paris Hilton.

Well, he was still driving under the influence, which is a stupid move. I knew people who got killed because some young punk like Shia decided to get behind the wheel of car after a few too many.

He might not be completely at fault, but DUI is still DUI - I get to keep my sig.

Forgetting about the suspected DUI, if he made an illegal left turn (as was said in the first report) and the other guy ran a red light, then they're both at fault.

My dad always says that in any car crash both parties screw up (unless one of the cars is parked, of course)

And let's face it: even when he's sober, he acts like he's drunk. :D

    :lol

    Double :lol

He still drove while allegedly under the influence. There is no 'told you so' to be had here friend. He still acted illegally. I also hope that the OTHER driver who also acted illegally is punished appropriately.

Your dad apparently doesn't know what he is talking about...There are so many examples of wrecks where only one person is at fault and the other could do nothing to avoid the collision...I.E. crossover accidents where one driver careens through a median and hits oncoming traffic... being rear ended..sideswipes (No pun intended)...If you have vehicles all around you and someone gets in your space where you gonna go...

it's amazing how a few simple details can change the tide of judgement. i almost wonder if reporters leave out certain facts on purpose to sway us to a certain opinion. the only thing that stood out to us was "DUI" and automatically he's in a noose. but now the DUI does not matter?

"sorry lynch mob, go home, the kid is innocent, we sure tried hard to believe he was guilty, though didn't we?"

    It's a COVER UP!!!!

But seriously, if it's true that it's not his fault, that's some tough luck. Being put in these situations isn't exactly good for his career..

Until now, I had no interest in the Mutt Williams action figure. Now I want one, so I can do a webcomic about Shia's attempts to be taken seriously as a bad boy.
