Yeah, I agree with this. Pretty much from Leo saying "Robowarrior" on it got bad.

I sure hope he is right when he was talking positive about the upcoming third film.

Me too. It's good to hope for the best. On another note, it was proven his car accident during ROTF was not his fault. In any event, TF3 will mean even more new Transformers. :D

Wow! I must be the only one that understood the plot. Boy goes to college, kill Optimus Prime, get doomsday weapon, destroy sun for energy, revive Prime to kill bad guys, the end.

Someone needs to tell Shia to stop being lazy and read the tie in books and comics!
    I hope so too.

While I enjoyed the second film and did not "hate" it, I have to agree with Shia about the confusing aspects of the plotline. It was all over the place without any real direction. The writer's strike was a big reason why. So, I'm hoping that with no strike to worry about this time around, TF3's story will be a big improvement over the second film.

Not really. They could do that. But if the writing and plot sucked, it'd still be a shitty movie.

Also, the thing about doing a live action TF film is that it will always have a focus on the live actors. That's just the way live action films work.
Even a CGI heavy film like Avatar, had plenty of scenes with just live actor's in them.

I agree with him. Unintelligible shit.

... And I don't mean that it was unintelligible because it was too clever either. As someone pointed out the basic plot was simple. It was just that getting from plot point A to plot point B involved what I can only assume were the ramblings of whichever 6 year old put pen to paper in the writers room.

I agree with him, but I don't believe he said it: "There are a lot of people that liked the second one, but I hated it. I just didn't enjoy it."

C'mon, as a lead actor he's not allowed to say that, heck I doubt he's even allowed opinions on the movie, other than star positive.

Being nearly killed every other day of filming is bound to leave a bad taste in ones mouth regarding the movie.

    Just saying.

    Thank you

I actually watched RotF the other day and.... I have no idea what people don't understand about it. I mean really... it's not THAT hard to follow the plot.

And this is Transformers for one thing, a franchise that should not be taken to seriously ;P

That doesn't necessarily mean that the quality should suffer for it. I mean, I'm not looking for Schindler's List here, but I'm also not looking for the Legend of Chun-Li either. This movie suffered alot because of the writer's strike, and it show in the story. I agree that the plot was simple enough, but it was all over the place and not organized at all. On top of that you had alot of filler that had nothing to do with the story at all.

I hope that they take the time to craft a story that is something meaningful, cohesive and in depth, while being fun for the 3rd installment. That's all I ask for.

Good to see even the star of the film was confused.

Crappy writing "must be stopped, not matter the cost."
