This is looking beautiful so far. The way you're using the curves of the vehicle mode is fantastic!
And at first I couldn't see how you were going to make this transform... then I realised you created the Bumblebee too, and frankly that had me baffled for ages, too...

This should be quite unique when finished. I agree with making the front end the butt. Not only do the curves fit, but I ain't never seen a womans "headlights" on her rear.
