I remeber reading that the Dreads were going to murder the humans, but I guess that was fake.

Laserbeak convinces a little girl hes a new toy and to take her with her to play tea time. When hes taken up stairs he kills the father and then it is heavily implied that he kills the mother and daughter as well.
    This is probably that scene

could have sworn there were 2 robot assassins, and i also thought there would be at least more deaths. Maybe its the 2 dreads that ram ironhide?

The 2 dreads ramming ironhide is from his fight that holds them back giving Sentinel, Bumblebee, Mirage and Sideswipe the opportunity to get into the base. I think Bay decided to scale the scene up into one big ass kicking scene instead of IH just standing there for them to hit him.

well, at least we get to see his
    final
ass-kicking fight, maybe even his first fight alone, before
sentinel turns him into a FREEKING PUDDLE

    Yeah
maybe, just maybe, Ironhide, in his melting dieing state asks "W-why sentinel, before falling over still struggling to stand. Sentinel, Standing over him says dismissively, "because this is such heroic nonsense." before blasting down on IH like what megatron did in the G1 movie as a little nod to the way IH died in the G1 movie.

    for some reason
that just put a thought to my mind with movie ironhide being all hardass/badass, he'll probably say "you....betraying son of a bitc..." then melts. but i can see sentinel standing right over him watching him melt. also i bet when he comes in from the fight, he'll probably comment on it saying how "they dont make em like they used to" then sentinel goes "you've done enough" then blasts him

in the comic, Sentinel says "I never liked his kind" after slagging SPOILER, however that's a reference to events in Foundation, so I suspect it won't be in the film.

"Such heroic nonsense" doesn't make sense for Sentinel to say, but would be deeply cool.

This scene actually takes place in Houston, according to the novel. However, it could have been filmed in Sherman Oaks.
