Does anyone else feel like RID: Prime is going to shelfwarm drasticly in comparison to the other lines? Like, I feel like fans of Prime are starting to become a word of mouth type of thing, especially with how Hub started off with it.

So with that factor, could it be that PRID is going to shelfwarm to highhell? Especially with how many bumblebee's there are per box.

No I think the line is great..i have all the first editions tho..and its a refreshing series as compared to the failure of dark of the moon toys and generations repaints,,loving this line so far..and bumblebee is the character kids recognize the most..as collectors yeah they over release him..but they will eventually sell..lol

Just wondering. Why is this in the third-party discussion again?

Also I think it will be like the DOTM line.

I think Bumblebee (was it ever a doubt?) and Cliffjumper may. I've never seen a Soundwave, Wheeljack, Arcee, or Ratchet in my life.

Doesn't look like they are shelfwarming so far. I've been to my local TRUs and Targets about 3 times each in the past 6 or 7 days and the stuff seems to be flying off the shelves as fast as they can load them, other than a few straggling Bumblebees.

They all fly off the shelves where I live. Even Bumblebee, albeit somewhat slower than the others for obvious reasons. I don't think we have to worry about any mass-shelfwarming.

I think Optimus will not have a problem selling. He seems to be a solid toy and kids are happy with that. Kids likely don't know of the the EPIC First Edition to be disappointed with the PRID version.

Bumblebee, without a doubt. I've been two three stores today and I've seen 15 Prime Bumblebee's hanging out with his movie brothers, while I've seen like two CJ's, the one Soundwave I got, no Prime, one Megatron, and no Ratchet, WJ, or Arcee so far.

That's about what I saw at TRU yesterday, but I think it's still too early for a verdict, even on Bumblebee. The toys have only been up about a week, and I've already seen the pegs empty completely once.

Of the one case my Walmart put out, the Wheeljacks were the first ones to go, followed by the Soundwave I bought, then Megatron and Cliffjumper. Two Primes and two Bumblebees remain.

Personally, I'm just glad to see something on shelves besides DotM.

It probably will once the hype dies down and stores FINALLY put these things out!

My local Target and Wal-Mart took FOREVER to put the new Thundercats figures out. Now they don't sell. Gee, I wonder why? -_- They just put these on the shelves AFTER Christmas, I kid you not.

So when stores pull this stunt (putting toys out after the buzz is over, or everyone and their friends have gone elsewhere to buy them), it hurts future series from coming out. At least to their stores.

Sure, the Autobots will shelfwarm, but the Decepticons won't. Look at the Deluxe and Voyager case assortments. Oh look, 1 Megatron and 3 Optimus Primes. Oh look again, 1 Soundwave in a box with 2 Wheeljacks, 2 Cliffjumpers, and 3 Bumblebees. It's gonna be tough looking for any Decepticon, and this is only wave 1.

A few Bees will straggle on the shelves, there's no avoiding that. The odd Optimus Prime here and there, as well, but as a whole I think the PRIDE line will continue to sell like gangbusters, I have no doubt.

I was surprised at how quickly a case of deluxes was wiped out at a local TRU (all gone in a couple days, including all Bumblebees),but then just today at Target I see the expected cliche of one Cliffjumper, one Wheeljack, and SIX Bumblebees. arrh...
