Note: I know there's already one "http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...n/288368-shelfwarmer-appreciation-thread.html", but it's old and I learned how bad it is to revive an old thread somewhere else.

So let's bring it up again. Any shelfwarmer that you ended up liking it?

My current favorite Shelfwarmer is HFTD Sea Attack Ravage. I just love the color scheme mixture of black, silver, gold and light blue. Transformation sux, but it's still a good looking movie Ravage figure.

Its actually a movie accurate deco too, compared to the first release of Ravage.

Probably going to get hate for this but, Tuner Mudfap was promoted from "horrible" to "so horrible I had to have it".

He sits on my desk now riding a small alligator with a derp-face. I'll post a picture of Mudflap and his trusty steed later.

Tuner Skids and Mudflap. I actually prefer them to the movie accurate decos.

Kinda wish I skipped out on the first Ravage and got that one instead. Ah well, no way of knowing a better deco was coming out at the time.

Deluxe Wheelie, Ejector, Bludgeon, Demolishor, Sea Spray, Smolder, Bombshock, and Cyberverse Megatron are all shelfwarmers that I adore, though I bought them before they earned that label.
There's also BW Injector and Transquito, but as I was a kid when they were on shelves I never saw them as staying longer than they should; and I only got them recently, long after their (prolonged) stay in stores. These two I'm especially fond of, either because of nostalgia, finally getting something I wanted as a kid that I never got then, a break from the Movieverse/vehicle alts, or because Transquito is a wonderfully miserable mosquito/whip spider and Injector a ridiculous fish-headed wasp strangely reminiscent of the Alien.

I'm thoroughly convinced Injector was some type of fashion model before the war.

Payload and Brawn were the only figures I bought just because they stayed on the shelves so long. Neither were spectacular, though Payload gets some points for letting me discover scale with my toys.

Generations Skullgrin. For some reason, after seeing him on the pegs for months upon months, he disappeared completely, and I found myself missing him. I saw him one last time, a lone Skullgrin in a Target I don't normally visit, but didn't have the funds to pick him up. Since then he's vanished.

It's like that one guy you see at the supermarket every day, and you don't particularly like him necessarily, but he was always there with a smile. And then, he's no longer there, and you realize how much he meant to your day.

I saw RotF Bludgeon at my local TRU for a looong time after he came out. I finally pulled the trigger when I saw him on sale for half price last summer. Definitely a cool figure.

Is it a crime that I see Masterpiece Rodimus warms the local TRUs shelves and I don't want to buy it?!

Nothing wrong with not buying a figure that's missing a crucial piece.

He's an awful MP Rodimus Prime, but he's as good an MP Hot Rod as you could hope for.

    Love the Targetmaster.
