so does anyone read this...i picked it up because Peter David is writing it...and 2 issues into it, i gotta say its one of the better titles i buy. I've always enjoyed Peter David writing and always wanted to try She-Hulk...so now i can have both.

and the only thing im wondering, it seems the Absorbing Man doesnt have his mind-jump powers (as seen in the Hulk)....or we havent seen it yet.

They keep changing many of the powers and ablities at random of characters. David was basing his Absorbing man and titania off the old school models and ignoring later stories.

Ah yes. My girl. The Shulk. She holds a special place. I became ill at elementary school one day and my Dad had to come get me. We stopped at a nearby Hooks drugstore to pick up some medicine, I noticed this pink comic on the spinner, and fell in love. Its always been, since Byrne, just a fun, silly, cliches filled book.

I used to have a blowup of this tacked to the wall for over a decade...until Flavor of love.

    Dan Slott ftw!

I'll pick up the first trade of this and if it's shit, then I'll go back to re-reading the wonderful, incredible Slott run.

So far I have enjoyed PADs run. Slott was a genius on the title though and it'll be hard to match. but if anyone can, it's David.

Peter David's stuff is hit or miss with me sometimes. Mostly hit though. His current X-Factor is beyond awesome. Though I couldn't stand his original run on X-Factor back in the early 90's.

Might have been the change in team. I'm a huge "Original X-Men" fan, so that was taken away from me at the time. Plus I've never cared for Havok or Polaris that much. I have always enjoyed Madrox and Rahne though.

Slott's Thing mini-series was awesome, I wish it was still around.

As for the last She-Hulk issue, when did Absorbing man get he ability to absorb DNA, as in the shark scene? I thought he just turned into the material he was touching. THe lego scene was kinda funny.

The 1st 2 issues of the David run are OK ... but he's no Dan Slott.

Plus, his record on rebooting female superheroes is less than good. Earth Angel Supergirl, anyone?
