By now, most of you have probably seen this story on the front page:

Custom Transformers Classics Cliffjumper Upgrade Kit

This is really cool, and I wouldn't mind having one myself, but if you're not willing to go through the trouble to locate and buy one of them...or can't be bothered to follow this nifty tutorial I stumbled across online...there's always one little thing you can do to make Classics Cliffy and the Bee look a little less like fraternal twins...

    Shave the Bee.

All you need to do is take an x-acto/hobby knife and trim off his little goatee...round it off as best you can, maybe hit him up with a little sandpaper to smooth his chin. when you're done, you can cover up the yellow spot using the silver model paint of your choice, or a silver sharpie, which is a disturbingly close match for the original silver paint. (that's what I did.)

Also, if you happen to have a classics Bee just lying around doing nothing, you can always gank his black parts and append them to Cliffjumper, which makes him look a helluva lot more geewun and provides a much more solid color scheme without all the grey bits mucking it up:

Although fair warning: the resulting bee will be horribly grey and funky looking. :dunce

Yeah I swapped the black forearms from my bee and grey ones from cliffy a while ago. BB does look better without the goatee but I'd rather not paint him

and in regards to that CJ upgrade kit... me want for the head and the guns but I might put the body kit on too, if I ever get one that is

I am afraid that my greybee is currently packed up in storage somewhere, inside of a factory packaging I slit open for the express purpose of putting him back in once I was done stealing his body parts, so I could hang him on the wall and no one would ever know his terrible secret.

Maybe Lucs or someone else can post a pic? :D

this post wins for the propagation of ganking as a viable kitbash slang.

Ganking is always valid slang, sir.

(Also, that looks amazingly good! That Bumblebee looks factory.)

If the Bee in question weren't 2500 miles away in storage, I'd gladly oblige you. :(

That goatee removal is flawless, it looks as though it came that way.
