shattered glass is a very... tricky thing to work with. it's one thing to paint your figures to look shattered glass. it's another to make an episode. tht said, i'd want it to stay a dvd exclusive if it ever happens.

 

It would be funny if Airachnid was portrayed as frickin' Jesus.

 

Knock Out thinks the scratches and dings to his paint job show how many battles he's been in and never gets them removed.

I think I will do Optimus now. Here we go!:

Rage and insanity are two words that truly fit the description of the terrible Optimus Prime. His mind is a warped reality that see's everything as a potential victim, and takes great joy in suffering. His explosive temper and brutal combat skills leave him a grave threat to even his own troops, and he is certainly not above punishing his soldiers for even minor failures. Only Bumblebee is able to calm down Optimus from a rage, but even he is not safe from cruel taunts about his scars or inability to talk. Optimus admires the potential for rage in Arcee, hence why he made her his second-in-command, and remains ignorant of Bulkhead and Ratchet's plots to overthrow out of a sheer lack of concern.

He wasn't always a dreaded monster; before the war, he was a data clerk, who sought all kinds of knowledge to fuel dreams of power. Eventually, he travelled to the core of Cybertron, where the corrupted Primus gave the Matrix of Leadership. Driven insane by the mass of wisdom within it, he emerged, gathered an army and plunged Cybertron into war, only to find himself opposed by a gladiator named Megatron, who became Prime's greatest enemy.

Optimus has a gruesome habit of hanging dismembered pieces of Autobot and Decepticon alike around the base to remind him of the beautiful deaths he has caused. He regrets not retrieving Cliffjumper's coprse for his collection, if only to see Arcee's reaction.

 

This thread has inspired me to write. This was just something quick on a whim.

After great years of conflict, Cybertron is dead. While most sensible transformers have fled the planet, the insane Optimus Prime orders his army to stay on Cybertron. The vile and brutish Autobots are condemned to their planet, which is now Optimus Prime's war world. Megatron, the impatient, but heroic leader of the Decepticons and his soldiers has found reconcile on earth. The Decepticons were labeled as traitors from the Autobots for not joining their conquest of the galaxy. While Optimus Prime is content ruling on Cybertron, he cannot let things be. He will not be satisfied until Megatron is crushed. He and his squad of minions head to earth to snuff out Megatron but the leader of the rebels has proven himself to be quite wily. Not only does the Transformer's fight continue on earth but the appears to be bigger things in play on earth...

Autobots:

Optimus Prime - Typical Shattered Glass Optimus. Violent, insane, and cunning. Believes in survival of the fittest.

Bumblebee - Silent assassin of the Autobots. Never speaks. Not even Optimus is aware of his beginnings(not that Optimus cares).

Ratchet - While polite and smooth on the exterior, the Autobots doctor is anything but sensible. Conducting vile experiments and dangerous medical procedures. The Autobots fear damages lest they suffer being in Ratchet's care.

Bulkhead - If you ask who Bulkhead is that would depend on who ask. If you ask his peers they say he's artist. Crafting evil looking sculptures out of Autobot carcases. Those who see him on the battlefield tell a different tale. Once in a fight, Bulkhead turns into a raging beast.

Arcee - Arcee is undoubtedly the smallest of the Autobot. This doesn't bother her at the least. She stick to the shadows of larger bots like bulkhead. She'll let them take care of the hard work first, then she'll move in. She will slowly dismantle a bot just for the joy of it.

Wheeljack: A cruel mercenary which Optimus has hired to track down the Autobots.

Decepticons:

Megatron - Megatron was built a lowly miner, but quickly switched into a brutal gladiator in Cybertron's battle pits. While here he saw the true plight of his people. He began a campaign to better his planet but Optimus Prime, who was his political partner, had other plans. When they gained a high stand in the Cybertron politics, Optimus turned on Megatron and Cybertron. He had gathered a mass of soldiers and had the rest of the leaders killed. Megatron quickly rose arms against Optimus. After years of fighting Cybertron itself died. Megatron ordered the evacuation. Megatron now resides in secrecy on Earth, which he has made his new home. Not a day goes by that Megaton does not regret his actions during the war. Quick tempered, Megatron tries his best to rid himself of Decepticon attacks on Earth.

Starscream - Joined with Megatron during the war, Starscream was a scientist but learned to fight. He lent his hand in many project in the war. Starscream now resides with his leader on Earth. He follows his leader without trepidation. He trusts Megatron. He often has bouts of self-doubt, often regretting that he can't do more to help the cause, but Megatron will quickly remind him of his importance.

Soundwave - Though he appears methodical and calculating, he is just a shy bot. He was one of the first to join Megatron in his fight against Optimus. Performs all of Megatron's Digital needs. He love Earth's music.

Knock Out - The Decepticon's doctor. Years of seeing damages brought on by the wars has left him dead on the inside. He often hides this by throwing quick sarcastic remarks and insults. He doesn't take orders very well, but respects Megatron.

Breackdown - Originally a thug from Cybertron, he joined Megatron by chance. During the war, he and his team had a run in with Bulkhead. Bulkhead continued to slaughter his team and turn them into a big statue, which is the prized of his collection. This still haunts Breakdown. It turned him into a paranoid mess. He constantly fears that Bulkhead is put to get him. Even through his fear, He hopes on day to face down Bulkhead and take his vengeance.

Airachnid - A simple Biologist who left Cybertron during the war out of disgust. She traveled the galaxy studying various species. Eventually found herself on earth after her ship was destroyed and occasionally lends a hand to the Decepticons. While she's a quick thinker and a good bot, she's not a fighter.

I kind of don't want Shattered Glass - while a neat premise - polluting everything else in the Transformers mythos.
