I figured the upcoming TFSS TFP Barricade can make a nice SG Prowl.

 

The Universe 1.0 Razorclaw would make a nice SG BW Tigerhawk. Then the Botcon Packrat/Walmart blue transmetal Rattrap figures would make a nice SG Rattrap.

I recently discovered there as a SG Wheelie card at BotCon 2014. Love the image.

 

I got the stickers for Magnaboss from BotCon 2016, and noticed that the Ironhide stickers have some extras on them, including SG Decepticon symbols. I know some companies have made custom ones before, but I think this is the first time OFFICIAL SG Decepticon symbols have been produced.

 

I use Cybertron Crumplezone as SG Wheelie, yeah it's not a superexpensive rare toy but it works for me.
Deluxe Beasthunters Windrazor is my SG Esmeral, Beasthunters Abominus is SG Monstructor.
Universe Ramjet is SG Sixshot, his colors resemble G1 Ultra Magnus colors and i gave him 3 extra mini-cons, 6mini-cons = Sixshot.

For my SG heroic Decepticon stand-ins I have DOTM Shockwave as....Shockwave....(I have a spare) The RealGear (Booster?) as Buzzsaw, Real Gear Mean Time as....Meantime (Why not?), RID Bludgeon as Bludgeon (I believe this is an official repurposing), USB Tigatron as Ravage, and the 3rd party shadow rumble as Frenzy.

I really need more evil Autobots.
And I might decide to us CW Blastoff and SG Slingshot, eventually.

A bit late to the party but the retail version of FOC Vortex (red and purple) seems like a good fit for a Shattered Glass version. The FOC Wreckers could also work as their SG counterparts.

Actually part of my head-canon for SG Beast Wars is that Cheetor killed Primal and took over as leader. Mostly due to the fact I don't have a Primal toy that looks "evil" enough.

It's great if you're into it, of course, but the colors don't say "bad guy" to me.

 

Yeah, that Primal isn't that evil looking. I just thought he'd fit into the whole Universe/Armada color scheme.

Also, do you have SG Predacons?

I never took a picture of them (or really thought too much about filling out their ranks very much), but I know Armada Predacon is SG Megatron, Armada Terrorsaur is SG Terrorsaur and Botcon Shokaract is SG Rampage. (In the head-canon the Maximals are kind of massacring the Predacons and these three are the only ones left.)

But if you want a fuller cast, off the top of my head, I'd use Botcon Sandstorm for SG Scorponok, maybe the Fox Kids Dinobot for SG Dinobot, probably the Fox Kids Waspinator for SG Waspinator (or hey, maybe that Fan Club Thrustinator figure... that toy wasn't a thing the last time I was thinking about SG Beast Wars)... uhh... maybe the Fan Club Tarantulas for SG Tarantulas? The one they made from RTS Wreck-Gar?

SG Predacons are harder than SG Maximals due to the face sculpting. On those SG Maximals up there, everybody's got this great snarling, menacing, gritted-teeth expression and that makes it easy to imagine them as bad guys. But there aren't any Predacon toys with smiling, friendly expressions, they're all snarling and gritting their teeth too, which just kind of makes them look like off-colored bad guys.

 

Just had a thought that simply adding SG Predacon or Decepticon symbols to G2 Skydive turns him into a good SG Cicadacon.
