    Shattered Glass Ravage

I've made more than my fair share of puppets over the last year. This is the prototype of my first original design.

(In case anyone isn't familiar, Shattered Glass Ravage is a “Mirror Universe” version of the evil Decepticon cassette Ravage.)

His right arm is wired, the left one ready for rod-rigging. The eyes can swap out with velcro to give him multiple expressions.

Special thanks to Walky for coming up with the character in the first place, and for sketching up some head turnarounds (even if the final version did depart from them substantially).

Damn. That is cute. All it needs are some missile launchers and it's ready for kid shows. Good work.

I seriously want to see this puppet sing a kid's song on TV while we follow the bouncing Energon Cube. I really am impressed with it.

That is a wonderful idea. What kind of fabric did you use? I use a fleece for all my plush TF dolls so the kids can hug them but always looking for new ideas. The eyes were a work of genus.

Hahah.. GREAT stuff. The new head of marketing for Transformers saw the Ravage puppet my buddy Axeman and I worked on for Jon3pnt0 and said it was a brilliant idea! I agree.... and this just proves how awesome Ravage is.... this is TOO cute btw.

I'm a big fan of SG Ravage and this is PERFECT. Now all we need are some kitty videos! I wanna see the puppet in action!

Your other puppets are phenomenal too :thumb

He's standard fleece over a foam, polyfill and cardstock/stiffened felt structure. Some of his features (the inner mouth, small detail pieces) are felt. I'm planning on moving to the 'fuzzy backed' fleece (like what he has on his forearms) for future puppets because you can use a baseball stitch to more easily hide the seams.

I'm contemplating a normal ravage, using a different set of facial features (different eyes, nose/forehead ridge) and I have another TF design based around this head shape in the works.
