it looks like it could use one more dip in the dye bath. the colors look just a touch pale. I'm not saying to dye it too much, as I know you don't want it to get too dark, but you do want it more "rich".
You're right, I shouldln't have dyed it burgundy I should have stuck with straight scarlet but I was afraid the dye wouldn't take if it was just scarlet. Oh well, I'm going to highlight it with some metallics and hopefully it turns out ok, I can't re-dip because I don't want it to get any darker.
but I'm afraid it is already too dark, you can't dye back to a lighter color Oh well, lesson learned for the future, and I think I can still pull off this scheme for him being the heroic decepticon. Warpath's colors were pretty similar right?
Genius! With a color like this, you can't go wrong. I think the color is fine the way it is. I thought it was bronze, at first. This is the most different approach that I've ever seen in a dominant color, and because it is darker, it's the opposite what the evil Galvatron was. Galvy was insane, and had a ridiculus paintjob to reflect that, while this bonevolent mirrorverse guy must be in full control, and chose a more regal and appropriate scheme fit for a leader. The metalic highlights would do more than compliment shattered glass Galvatron.
