I had same idea, but actually seeing the concept art and model of it. I like it already. So I'm looking forward to this one, no matter how chessy it is.

After reading replies to this so far, I think it's safe to assume that you guys have no idea who Roger Corman is. The word "cheesy" and the movie Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus are nowhere near the ballpark in which he plays.

If you know Corman, I think the responses to this news would be quite different indeed. XD

Yes, I know who he is and I bet the others know him as well, some of his films are pretty much in the "B" catagory and thats why he's known as the King of the B's. When I say "cheesy" to me it has a different meaning like its going to be fun, enteraining, exciting, and etc. So not to disrespect Mr. Roger Corman he's a great of what he does. You know he did bring us the the film, "Dinocroc" or was it "Supergator", but still I respect his work.

I think you're giving the man too much credit. Or perhaps the wrong sort of credit. While he revolutionized cheap B-movies and is a past-master of making them profitable and fun, this is no way means he doesn't have plenty of competantly made junk under his belt.

Carnosaur? Black Scorpion series? Future Kick? Dinocroc? Supergator? Frankenstein Unbound?

Look, the man is ruthlessly competent. But he will also make pretty much anything, so long as he can keep it up to his production standards.

i mean, that video clip of a megafuckingwhiteladon catching a 747 just pushed me over the edge.
i love cheese in cinema, but man, this level of sloppy, Cheese Whizziness needs to stay on a Philly (no onions), lol.

SyFy's most dangerous night of television is only dangerous to brain cells.

You just know that this will eventually lead to Dinoshark Vs. Sharktopus.

But, which one will eat the plane?

Side note: I just have to say, "SyFy" is a really fucking stupid name. I cringe every time see it. They should have never changed it.

Sharktopus and Dinoshark look pretty damn wicked though.

I don't know why they changed the name. I heard someone say that people didn't know how to pronounce it. Of course, because we have illiterates on this planet we must take a step back, just for them :)
