Very nice! I agree that her work has been really good so far. When the new RID comic ends (because as a tie-in book, it has a much shorter shelf-life than the others), I'd like to see her continue working on some of the other books.

    That's a bit more than a sketch!

Post-Auto Assembly update--still waiting on a full commission from Nick, but I managed to get:

This amazing coloring job done at 2:30 in the morning by JP Bove (lines by Casey Coller; this photo of the glossy print doesn't really do it justice)

Got this done by Josh Burcham at TFcon 2014. He's also one of the more underrated artists at IDW. I have a sketch card somewhere too... Will update in the future, maybe lol

Great thread! I agree, Josh Burcham deserves more recognition for his work. I commissioned this Tarn last year at Botcon, LOVE how he turned out. There are black and white marks on gray paper.

Commissioned Casey Coller sketch of my favorite, Blast Off. I joked that I'd come commission the other Combaticons each year- 1 down, 4 to go!

I am so happy that I was able to get this great Brainstorm from none other than Alex Milne last year at Botcon. This sits on my wall next to me as I type this.

I don't think I've seen a Kotteri piece on this thread yet- she's an amazing artist. I commissioned Rewind and ChromeDome last year at Botcon.

Not quite my favorite space shuttle, Blast Off, but Astrotrain IS a space shuttle, so pretty close. :)  This wasn't a commission, but it is original art by Guido Guidi. I actually won this drawing in a contest IDW held a few years back! :)

Finally, not a commission, per se, but I nabbed this Casey Coller Onslaught artwork that ran in the TF Collector's Club magazine for Onslaught's bio. First a pic of the artwork, then the Henkei Onslaught standing next to it. (Ok, maybe that makes 2 Combaticons down, 3 to go!)

Oh I definitely think so too, but she was selling the comissions as sketches so I thought it was appropriate to label it as such. If this is what counts as a sketch, imagine what her proper comissions would look like!

That's a great piece, I always wondered if it was still out there. Did you get it directly from the original artist or a dealer? I asked Baskerville if he still had any original TF pieces but he sold it all or gave it away a long time ago.

And this is a great thread, love seeing original pieces. I mostly collect sketches of Decepticon Pretenders [someone has to...] but here's a nice one of Fangry I got from Nick Roche a couple of years back:

Original artwork, I'm trying to get at least one page from every artist who worked on Marvel UK TFs, so I have a lot of stuff from that era, but I also pick up the occasional modern piece. This one's a fave, Roche's cover to More Than Meets The Eye #7:

Hey there, is this original artwork that you've commissioned/purchased? If yes, please include the artist. If no, seems like you've got the wrong thread.

No, they're part of a large collaborative project I'm producing. The Artists involved were generous enough to volunteer their considerable skills and time towards it.

I took the name of the thread, specifically the 'original pages' part, as meaning these would be fine to post here. Apologies if I've overstepped the bounds of the thread.

No problem. As a fan comic/creative work, you might want to repost it in the fan art or fan fiction section of the forums. As the OP, I can clarify that "original pages" in this context was referring to the original penciled/inked pages of artwork from the officially produced comics.

Hope this doesn't count as thread resurrection but I managed to acquire a new piece of art.

Sara Pitre-Durocher put up some of her Inktober pieces for sale and I was lucky enough to grab this lovely Rung drawing. I was hoping to nab a Swerve she'd done as well, but all the drawings went very quickly.
