hi, long time no post, been busy with work

i have not been following transformers much this past year, and did not buy many toys during this time. i did, however, gave in on titans return broadside since G1 broadside was my first transformer when i was a kid.

anyways, i keep seeing the 5mm peg holes on the robot mode shoulders as plain eyesores, so i decided to make some use of them: by making turrets that will also work in battleship mode. i checked shapeways, and someone has done some turrets already, so i took it one step further and make it so that titan masters can sit on them.

so this shapeways kit gives you turrets that can be manned by titan master figures. the cannons can swivel up and down, and the turrets can be mounted on the little titan master pegs, as well as any standard 5mm peg holes, so you can use these turrets on other transformer bases (or any transformers for that matter) that happen to have the standard 5mm peg holes for mounting

you can purchase them from shapeways here:

Love it! Those will work great with any of the bots with a base mode.

This is definitely being added to my ever increasing list of base and TR weapons. This will help vary it up even more and while the first use of these I'd think would be for my FMax, I think my G1 Countdown is getting first dibs. Great set, can't wait to get them.

Cute. Now, I know it's probably nitpicking... but is there a chance you'll design a hinged version? In other words, in case you don't want to put a Titan or Prime Master at the turret, you could fold it over, compacting it. It'd allow them to be stand alone turrets/guns for figures to use.

Also, maybe you could fit a recess on the back of the turret to fit the Titan Master heads? It'd allow you to fold them and basically turn the turrets into Target Master weapons. Probably look far better with Prime Masters, or Enigmas, but yea...
