Count me in !! I love this and have 3 combiners that need sets!
Echo I will buy 3 of this set. I say put the color scheme in 3 main schemes, SDCC,Fruiticus,Wreckers. make a even number of the first 2 & a limited 1st run of the 3rd. Then do a 2nd run of the wreckers scheme with a limited run of the g2 scheme. I predict it will sell so well that multi releases of the kit are a must in all the schemes of color. Take a poll and open preorders with down payments, IMO. Waiting patiently......
Poll was already opened and concluded. Now we all just await for the fruit of its results.
will there be a set for the Ruination repaint?
possibly, Echo said he would like too.
If only we have the info on the first post.....
Yes, it's there. I was being facetious...
sooooooooooo uh... echo... youve got some SERIOUS competition now for a 3rd party FOC bruticus... someone is doing a FULL voyager class onslaught to compliment the deluxes... its in the 3rd party news section of this sight.
Thanks for the post. He does know about it already.
EchoTF is working hard to get the add-ons out soon for people to enjoy.
I'm still getting this set for my G2 Brute, but that 3P Onslaught might convince me to snag the Grimlock/Bruticus set if I see it at retail.
So I'm in for both.
I wouldn't consider the 3p Onslaught competition, it doesn't improve upon Bruticus as significantly as Echo's kit, I am tempted to get it just to see how it looks combined with Echo's limb upgrades though....
Anyway if those guys wanted to REALLY make a mark, they should have done a comic-accurate Impactor that could still combine with the FOC Wreckers, now that would impress me, probably earn my money too, lol
i dont know about the rest of you, but if they are ONLY doing onslaught, i will be getting him AND ehco's set and using them together. i do have a sinking suspisoion tho that if they are ONLY doing onslaught, hes going to have some similar upgrades for the rest of his teammates as well... if they dont just do the whole damn team and are only making him with with the normal deluxes just so they can be used as stand in untill their own come out (either way ill prob get both, i fuckin love bruticus)
ATM... the most economical route will be getting Echo's set. If you have to get one... echo's would be the go-to most likely.
Ideally... and for the near future IF it's *only* an FoC Onslaught update... you might want both upgrades. That Onslaught fixes a lot about the base figure AND combiner mode... whilst Echo's set takes care of just about all aspects to the combiner mode. (Which most likely is the only thing folks care for anyway.)
Odds are whoever made the proto for a Voyager Onslaught is testing the waters... and whether they make more figures will probably depend on it selling well. If they do or don't... well you have echo's set to make a rather nice Bruticus in any regards.
Wow, this kid is legitimately good enough to make me almost regret selling off my 2 sets earlier in the year. I can definitely see myself buying this kit and the Grimlock vs Bruticus set to take advantage of how great this looks.
Echo, I'm most definitely going to be buying both your upgrade kit & the new Onslaught coming out. While Onslaught is a pretty bad figure (the Hasbro version), I'm still going to keep him mainly because I've grown to love the figure.
I'm definitely going to use the Voyager Onslaught for display, though. However, the smaller one is going in the background so that the first one isn't completely shunned by his mates. Although deluxe is going to stay the torso for Bruticus since I kind of like partsforming combiners.
6 days without a comment.. Is there any new info on this?
On this site, that means a LOT.
Is there a new thread besides the color choice thread possibly?
Or is everyone busy drooling over Warbotron?
I'm still interested in fixing my FoC Brut!!
I'm pretty sure this is still very active, and it is just the process.
Oh and I too am still very interested in this kit
^^ Yup, things are still moving along nicely. I wish I could say more but production design work is going well.
BTW I also drool over Warbotron...Bruticus is fast becoming my fave combiner...
Cool about production, Steve and still planning on getting at one! I didn't know what the eff the Warbotron was, until I just read your reply and did a search on it. I'm really wanting one of those now too!
Good to hear. I'm excited to see this. And Bruticus is just badass enough to warrant multiple places in my set-up
Echo, i must be living under a rock since i just discovered your youtube video on this and must say my wallet ia ready and so are my Bruticii.
