So, last weekend, I finally picked up the first two volumes of "Shaman King" on DVD (several years late, I know), and was pleasently surprised to find that it wasn't the kiddy 4Kids dub, but what I'm guessing is a more accurate one. Also, there was blood, which I'm pretty sure wasn't one the version brodcast for Saterday mornings.

So, is there any news of rest of the series being released at all? Were sales that low? Should I settle for a bootleg set with only subtitles?

Probably the same reason given for the Yu Gi Oh releases, "legal rights".

If they can't squeeze anymore money from it, 4Kids will drop it and let it rot until the license is expired.

Dammit. Well, here's hoping whoever picks it up after that gets the same English cast for the main characters at least.

And here's hopeing, y'know, someone does pick it up after that.
